Sprudel Sprudel & Musik - Das begehbare Konzert

Goessl, Upper Austria (2007)

The starting point of the concert is in Gössl. There, it begins a journey to the Toplitzsee. At certain stations along the path most diverse artists are located. Their respective performance lifts out the specific feeling of the place. We would like to clarify the connection to nature as origin of the art. In music, language and performing art, nature itself is the work of art whereas the artists are its language pipes to humans. The respect for nature is to be mediated. For the way to the Toplitzsee one has 2 hours time. Thus, each visitor arranges himself individually, by location and duration of stopover with the individual stations, the concert of his choice. With opened senses and correctly joined in one comes then to the Toplitzsee for the final concert. (Franz Steinegger)

Sprudel Sprudel & Musik - Das begehbare Konzert
Goessl, Upper Austria (2012)

In the new concept the topic ‚Nature & Art’ is extended by the component humans. Thus, the discovering and understanding of the connections between the two is now replaced by ‚life with nature and life with the art’. Thereby, one approaches humans and everyday life.
The concert moved into the small farmer village Goessl nearby the Toplitzsee. The powerful Goessler Wall serves as scenery. The far fields serve as stage.
Before the conclusion concert, one is sent for 3 hours on an accessible concert that can be arranged individually by each visitor. One can choose location and duration of the stopover at the different stations that embrace music concerts, art exhibitions, performing art and farmer’s goods to eat and drink.

MAYU is an improvisation based on the image of a cocoon as symbol of something that grows and developes within its surrounding.
