CURRICULUM VITAE

DaniMayu, Butohist (Dancer, Choreographer, Teacher), has been living in Tokyo 1999-2005. Since 2000, she participated there in numerous Workshops and co-operated with many ButohMasters and -Dancers: Akiko Motofuji, Ohno Yoshito, Kinya Tsuruyama, Kudo, Oikawa Hironobu, Takada Keitoku, Tamanos in Asbestos; Ohno Yoshito in Kazuo Ohno Dance Studio; Ishikawa Masatora in Kochuten; several with Dairakudakan in Kochuten and Hakuba; Hiruko Hino; Kasai Akira; Semimaru (Sankai Juku) and Toru Iwashita (Sankai Juku) since February 2000. In Vienna with Ko Murobushi (Impulstanz '04 and '08), Yuko Yuki, Yamamoto Moe (both 2005) and Harada Hiromi ('05 and '06). Noguchi Taisou Classes with Arai Hideo in Tokyo (2005).

With few exceptions DaniMayu works solo. Numerous appearances in Japan, Austria, South Tyrol.
Since 2005 she gives regularly Workshops in Vienna. 2006 she created her ButohCompany MayuKan.
Co-foundress and director of ButohKan Mayu - ButohCenter Austria.
